I visited The Crepe House a few weeks ago, intrigued by their special crepes, particularly the healthy Galettes made from gluten-free buckwheat.
However, the seating was uncomfortably low, not offering much leg comfort, and the ventilation was barely noticeable.
The most significant drawback was the Wi-Fi, which was abysmally slow at less than 1Mbps, making it almost unusable.
There was only one table near the power outlets, so nomads should stay away from this place – I wish I had checked the WiFi atleast before ordering.
I chose the ‘3 Cheese Complete‘ Gallete (Crepe) enticed by the combination of goat cheese, blue cheese, and mozzarella.
My expectations of oozing, melted cheese were not met. Instead, the cheese seemed almost frozen, barely warm within the crepe.
My friend opted for a ‘Shakti Protein’ smoothie bowl which was pretty bad. In her words, it was more like a shake served in a bowl.
A traditional smoothie bowl typically includes a variety of extras like muesli, coconut, chia seeds, and an assortment of fruits. This one, however, had only a few bananas, an apple, and some walnuts – quite basic and unexciting.
Overall, the experience was disappointing. Both my friend and I left feeling hot and unsatisfied with our meals.
