My first dining experience in Anjuna involved wandering until I found a restaurant that looked inviting and offered Wi-Fi.
This place was quite busy, a good sign, though they had to reset the router for the Wi-Fi, which eventually worked well, reaching speeds between 45 to 75Mbps.
From the special section of their menu, I ordered the chicken tikka masala with cheese garlic naan. Curiosity led me to ask about their oasis naan, described as containing garlic and vegetables, which sounded appealing.
The meal was served promptly and did not disappoint. The chicken tikka masala was flavorful, with a generous portion of chicken and a nicely spiced gravy.
The cheese garlic naan was particularly enjoyable, slightly crispy with plenty of cheese and a satisfactory amount of garlic.
However, the “Hello to the Queen” dessert was a letdown, marking my worst experience with this dish to date.
It seemed hastily prepared, featuring merely crushed biscuits, a few small banana pieces, and a minimal amount of chocolate sauce.
The two large scoops of ice cream were the only redeeming feature, but the small dish made it difficult to eat without spilling the biscuits.
Despite the disappointing dessert, the main course was satisfying, contributing to a productive work session.
