Little Ganesh

I recently visited Little Ganesh, a place I frequently pass by as it’s near my current residence. The restaurant uses a free Spotify account, and the music selection is enjoyable. I remember hearing ‘Canopee’ by Polo & Pan and ‘Sure Thing’ by St Germain.

Firstly, the Wi-Fi speed here is around 2Mbps. It’s stable but not ideal for work-intensive tasks.

The seating is comfortable enough, with simple plastic chairs, but not exceptional. The tables are a bit too high for comfortable laptop use, although it’s manageable. However, the lack of nearby power outlets was inconvenient, with the only one being in a sunlit area. Ventilation is minimal, but it’s not uncomfortably so.

When asking the waiter for recommendations, I didn’t receive much guidance. He listed most of the menu items, which seems to be a common practice in local restaurants.

The menu itself was extensive. I chose the grilled chicken breast, as it was recommended along with the chicken steak, both coming with cheese and mushroom sauce.

As for the food, the chicken breast was decent, though I couldn’t distinguish its grilled quality compared to a regular chicken steak. The sauce was flavorful and slightly spicy, which I liked, but the cheese wasn’t very noticeable.

The caramelized mushrooms were a nice touch, but a bit more sauce would have been preferable. The chicken portion was somewhat small, and the fries seemed slightly charred, possibly grilled, and were quite basic yet not overly oily.

I also ordered a lemon ice tea, which was quite refreshing.

Overall, my experience was underwhelming. Next time, I might try an Indian dish instead if i happen to come again.
