Casa Beach Huts & Casa Fiesta

First Visit - Casa Fiesta

I went to dinner with a few friends at Casa Fiesta, a popular restaurant on the beach which is quite nice.

They ordered the kingfish fillet, and I opted for the roasted hunter’s chicken. Another friend ordered a seafood biryani dish, and another chose the aloo gobi.

The chicken I received was not really good; it was thin and seemed to be soaked in what felt like the end part of a sangria, which was pretty weird.

but the friend who ordered the seafood biryani loved it!

For me, the aloo gobi was the best dish on the table. However, the others really enjoyed the kingfish fillet, which was really big and well-made.

Overall, the restaurant is pretty good but i didn’t get to enjoy it much, i atleast enjoyed with my friends. the visit the next day though was much better.

The next day, by chance, I went to a restaurant recommended for their “Hello to the Queen.” I noticed it had the same menu as Casa Fiesta and learned it’s owned by the same people with the same menu.

The Wi-Fi was an astonishing 150Mbps. The place was empty, giving off a very peaceful feeling.

With bungalows in the back and the restaurant in the front, it felt like a great place to live, especially since where I’m staying, the Wi-Fi only reaches 10Mbps on a good day, and there’s no restaurant.

I started with the malai kofta and garlic cheese naan, ensuring “Hello to the Queen” was available for later, which they confirmed even though it wasn’t listed on the menu.

The malai kofta came with just one big kofta in orange gravy, the type I like. It wasn’t very creamy but was super tasty, and the kofta was very soft and juicy, cheesy enough.

The cheese garlic naan was really good and complemented the malai kofta well; I enjoyed this dish a lot. It was really special.

They started making the “Hello to the Queen” right after I finished the malai kofta, as I requested.

It came in a tall, weird glass, which I didn’t really like, but it was hot because of the hot chocolate, which was promising.

There was a good amount of ice cream, the bananas were caramelized, and the biscuits were better than most places, with a lot of them. It wasn’t mixed with the chocolate, but it was still nice.

There were raisins, which I found less favorable; I don’t understand why some places add these, but overall, this “Hello to the Queen” is one of the best, definitely in the top 5.

Overall, it was an amazing stay here. My friend and I, who had a meeting, enjoyed it a lot, and the serene atmosphere with the view, just listening to the waves, added to the experience 🙂
