I visited Palolem beach with a couple of friends and we randomly chose to sit at Brendon’s. They allowed us to use the sunbeds on the condition that we order something.
With a name like “Brendon’s the Cool Place,” we thought it was worth trying out.
My friends opted for beers as they had already eaten. Initially, I was disappointed to find that the beef burger, listed on the menu, wasn’t available.
However, the staff informed me that the tandoor was already fired up so early in the day, so I decided to order a half tandoori chicken, which came with fries and a salad.
The tandoori chicken turned out to be a delightful surprise. It was the best I’ve had – the chicken was soft and tender, coated in a sauce that was simply outstanding, reminiscent of chimichurri.
I then ordered banana peanut butter shake as a kind of dessert. It was quite good, though not as thick and creamy as I usually prefer, even with the addition of bananas.
Overall, Brendon’s is a really nice spot. I would definitely recommend going there for the tandoori chicken.
