Recently, I visited Sea Touch, a restaurant recommended for its Malai Kofta and known for being run by a long-established, sweet family.
The Wi-Fi was impressively fast, reaching around 90Mbps, although it wasn’t very stable, occasionally dropping to 20Mbps or disconnecting. The seating was comfortable, with wooden chairs fitted with leather cushions, and the table was at an ideal height for me.
However, the lack of power outlets was a drawback, as there was no possibility of plugging in devices, limiting the time one can spend here as a nomad.
interesting aspect of Sea Touch is the absence of background music, allowing guests to enjoy the natural sound of the waves.
Initially, I planned to try the tandoori dishes, but they don’t start the tandoor until 4pm, so I began with the malai kofta and chose to pair it with cheese garlic naan, continuing my search for good naan in the area.
The malai kofta lived up to the recommendations. It featured a rich creamy cashew sauce and two large, soft, and freshly made koftas.
Although I couldn’t discern any cheese in the kofta, the cheese in the naan was flavorful and complemented the dish well.
However, the naan had uneven cheese distribution, and the garlic flavor was somewhat muted. Despite this, the naan was well-prepared, and I enjoyed it as it went really well with the malai kofta.
Overall, Sea Touch is a pleasant restaurant with a fantastic beach view and comfortable seating. It’s family-owned, offering fresh, quality food (though I plan to try more dishes). The fast Wi-Fi is a bonus, but the absence of power outlets means visits may be short for those needing to work.
